Detailed Job Description & Responsibilities
As an Application Engineer, you will serve as a technical subject matter expert, bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. This is a hands-on development role where you will lead technical deliverables, mentor junior developers, and ensure the team adheres to high-quality coding standards.
- Enterprise Software Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance enterprise applications using .NET and Azure technologies.
- Code Quality & Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews of peer submissions to ensure adherence to global architectural standards and best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Manage technical tasks within the project plan, coordinate with Project Managers, and distribute technical information across teams.
- Estimation & Planning: Provide accurate development effort estimates for all planned project phases.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project risks, technical exposure, and define effective remediation plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess a strong technical foundation across the following domains:
- Backend Development: Strong proficiency in .NET technologies including C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, and Windows Services.
- Database Management: Extensive experience with SQL Server, writing complex stored procedures, views, functions, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Frontend Technologies: Hands-on experience with JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, NodeJS, AngularJS, and integrating HTTP REST APIs.
