Detailed Job Description & Responsibilities

As an Associate Software Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Broadband Devices Team. This team is responsible for pioneering the future of multigigabit connectivity by developing cutting-edge software for next-generation network hardware. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Embedded Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software features for Embedded Systems that power modern broadband devices.
  • Cross-Layer Debugging: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system-level issues that span multiple layers of the networking stack, ensuring seamless device performance.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform deep-dive technical analysis on issues reported by Quality Assurance (QA) teams and global customers to implement robust, long-term corrective and preventive solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineering, QA, and product management teams to align software deliverables with hardware capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Code Quality & Standards: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented C/C++ code while adhering to industry best practices and software development lifecycles.
