Detailed Job Description and Responsibilities

As an SME Engineer IT, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the internal IT ecosystem. This is not a basic support role; it requires deep technical expertise to handle complex escalations, design robust IT workflows, and implement security standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • SaaS & IAM Administration: Manage and configure enterprise SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Okta (Identity & Access Management), Slack, Zoom, and other business productivity tools.
  • Infrastructure Management: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot internal IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime for all business operations.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Act as the escalation point for complex hardware, software, and network issues, performing root-cause analysis to prevent recurring problems.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security policies, manage endpoint security solutions, and ensure compliance with industry standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
